The construction scope includes a 740-meter four-lane road and an RE (Reinforced Earth) wall panel abutment. It also features a major 120-meter-long, four-lane, pre-stressed concrete box girder bridge with a curvilinear design and a rising gradient of 4.6%. Additional construction activities include RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) retaining walls, street light installation, construction of the Kabraytar Loop Road, river training works, a 30-meter diameter roundabout with steel railings, and cross drainage works. This bridge will connect to the NBR Package-I, enabling heavy vehicles to access Thimphu and the Pasakha Industrial Estate without passing through the core area of Phuentsholing.
